<p>We are seeking a <strong>Director of Sales</strong> to lead our expansion in the New York Metro area. In this high-impact, quota-carrying role, you’ll own one of HSP’s most important markets, building relationships with <strong>PE/VC firms, high-growth tech companies, and global enterprises</strong>.</p>
<p>This role is perfect for a <strong>consultative hunter</strong> who thrives in competitive environments, excels at executive-level selling, and wants to close complex, board-level deals that shape the global strategy of fast-scaling clients. You’ll have the support of marketing, partnerships, and solutioning resources — but the market ownership and rewards will be yours.</p>
<h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Win New Logos:</strong> Drive new business with VC/PE-backed companies, tech innovators, and multinational HQs (50–1,500 employees).<span class="EOP SCXW88197173 BCX8" data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><strong>Sell Strategic Solutions:</strong> Position HSP’s global services — HR, payroll, project consulting, global accounting, Employer of Record (EoR), compliance, tax, and entity setup — as mission-critical to international growth.</li>
<li><strong>Engage Senior Stakeholders:</strong> Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across <strong>Finance, HR, Legal, Ops, and the C-Suite</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Own the Full Sales Cycle:</strong> Prospect, run discovery, design solutions, negotiate, and close.</li>
<li><strong>Leverage Ecosystem: </strong>Tap into New York’s<strong> PE, VC, and professional services networks </strong>to source opportunities and accelerate pipeline.</li>
<li><strong>Be a Market Builder:</strong> Represent HSP at <strong>industry events, finance/VC forums, and executive roundtables</strong> as a thought leader in global expansion.</li>
<li><strong>Deliver with Excellence:</strong> Partner with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li><span class="TextRun SCXW143160125 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW143160125 BCX8"><strong>5–8 years </strong>of B2B sales experience, </span></span>including <strong>2+ years selling into PE/VC-backed tech or finance companies</strong>.</li>
<li>Consistent track record of <strong>exceeding quota</strong> in a complex, consultative sales role.</li>
<li>Experience selling <strong>high-value services or SaaS platforms</strong> to Finance, HR, or Ops leaders.</li>
<li>Familiarity with global HR, payroll, entity setup, or compliance is a strong plus.</li>
<li>An established <strong>network in the NYC finance and tech ecosystem</strong> is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Salesforce and modern prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.).</li>
