This is a highly visible, quota-carrying role where you’ll own a critical market and help some of the most innovative startups and scale-ups in the world expand across borders.</p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">This role is ideal for a <strong>strategic hunter</strong> who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building C-level relationships, and is energized by closing complex, consultative deals. You’ll have the backing of marketing, partnerships, and solutioning resources — but the spotlight (and rewards) will be yours.</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p> <h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Win New Logos:</strong> Identify, develop, and close new business with VC- and PE-backed technology companies (50–1,500 employees) across the Bay Area and beyond.</li> <li><strong>Sell Strategic Solutions:</strong> Position HSP’s global services — HR, payroll, project consulting, global Accounting Employer of Record (EoR), compliance, tax, and entity setup — as mission-critical to international expansion.</li> <li><strong>Engage Senior Stakeholders:</strong> Build trusted relationships with decision-makers across <strong>Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, and the C-Suite</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Own the Full Sales Cycle:</strong> Prospect, run discovery, craft tailored solutions, negotiate, and close.</li> <li><strong>Leverage Ecosystem:</strong> Tap into Bay Area’s <strong>PE, VC, and professional services networks</strong> to source opportunities and accelerate pipeline.</li> <li><strong>Be a Market Builder:</strong> Represent HSP at Bay Area events, VC networking forums, and industry meetups, positioning yourself as a thought leader in global expansion.</li> <li><strong>Deliver with Excellence:</strong> Partner with Solution Architects and Delivery teams for smooth client onboarding and long-term success.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>5–8 years</strong> of B2B sales experience, including at least 2+ years selling into <strong>technology companies in the VC/PE-backed ecosystem</strong>.</li> <li>Consistent <strong>track record of exceeding quota</strong> in a new business (hunter) role.</li> <li>Experience selling <strong>complex, high-value services or SaaS</strong> to Finance, HR, or Ops leaders.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>global operations</strong> (payroll, entity management, EoR, entity setup, compliance) strongly preferred.</li> <li>Strong <strong>network in the Bay Area tech/VC community</strong> is a plus.</li> <li>Exceptional <strong>consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</strong>.</li> <li>CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and mastery of modern prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.).&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Why Join HSP Group?</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Impact &amp; Visibility:</strong> Own a high-growth region and directly influence HSP’s trajectory.</li> <li><strong>Cutting-Edge Market:</strong> Work at the intersection of tech innovation and global expansion — with a client base that’s scaling fast and going global.</li> <li><strong>Support &amp; Resources:</strong> Backed by a global team of experts, solution architects, and marketing support.</li> <li><strong>Flexibility &amp; Growth:</strong> Remote-first culture with the freedom to work how you thrive, plus a clear career path as HSP scales.</li> <li><strong>Purpose-Driven:</strong> Be part of a company that helps businesses expand responsibly and compliantly worldwide.</li> </ul> <p>If you’re a driven sales leader who wants to make your mark in the heart of the innovation economy, we’d love to meet you.
