About the role


 


Title:                Director of Sales for Canada.


Products:         Industrial grade headsets, hearing protection, speech enhancement, system solutions.


Industries:        Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Construction & Transportation.


Channels:        Direct sales, B2B, Distribution channels, 2 Way Radio dealers, Safety dealers.


Territory:          All Canada & Alaska


Location:          Canada based


Responsibilities:


Drive sales growth for the region through direct customer sales within the target industries and through channel partners. Establish business relationships with direct customers and channel partners. Negotiate and close on sales opportunities. Develop market knowledge, and insight into future customer requirements. Understand competitor positioning, develop sales tactics and value positioning strategies for products. Forecast sales volumes and product mix.


Job Type:         Full-time, Commission


Base Salary:    $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year


 


Qualifications / Skills required


· 5+ years successful sales and account management experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, and Fortune 500 type accounts.


· Proven track record of quota achievement


· Experience in both direct end user sales and indirect channel management a plus.


· Working knowledge of radio communications and PPE preferred


· Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills


· Strong organizational and negotiation skills with attention to detail and quality orientation a must


· Ability to work well with the team


· Sound decision making and problem solving capabilities


· Ability to present professional image of self and Company


· Ability to handle customer inquiries and escalations professionally


· Thorough knowledge of computer and related business applications including CRM


· Ability to travel 50% of the time


· Must be able to learn quickly and do technical briefings to high level customer personnel.


· Must enjoy working in a competitive environment


· Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
