<p>DemoCorp is looking for a <strong>Director of Sales</strong> with strong knowledge of, and experience with enterprise-wide software and hardware technologies and value driven sales.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide technical support to the field as well as pre-sales support and customer directed field trials</li>
<li>Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally as required and keep all parties apprised of sales activities, concerns and wins</li>
<li>Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting</li>
<li>Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions</li>
<li>Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions</li>
<li>Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs</li>
<li>Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities</li>
<li>Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships</li>
<li>Manage the use of budgets</li>

<h3>Desired Skills and Experience</h3>

<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree and at least seven years sales experience in related industries (Energy/Utilities/Science)</li>
<li>A proven track record of success (enterprise/carrier grade products)</li>
<li>Experience selling analytics, data, predictive modeling, or business intelligence software</li>
<li>Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels</li>
<li>Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners</li>
<li>Keen understanding and appreciation of selling into large enterprise customers with traditionally long sales cycles</li>
<li>Selling hybrid (hardware and software) products a plus</li>
<li>Willingness to travel as needed (>50%)</li>
