Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports &amp; entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. If you’re someone who has built in imperfect environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into structure, this role is designed for you.&nbsp; As Director of Procurement, you will transform a traditional buying organization into a strategic sourcing function that supports rapid growth, product innovation, and increasing supply chain complexity. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, build visibility across systems and suppliers, and lead a team through meaningful change.&nbsp; Role is based in Dallas, TX.</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing...</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop supplier management processes and commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business needs targeting cost savings, risk management, material specs/quality, and process &amp; governance with a team of category managers, buyers and clerks</li> <li>Acts as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers</li> <li>Partner with Legal to develop supplier contracts and revise purchase order terms and conditions</li> <li>Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and all other requirements</li> <li>Ensure the the team accurately prepares and processes purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment on-time</li> <li>Build out and coach the procurement team – ensuring the category leads are able to act as owners of their categories and are collaborating to drive improvements</li> <li>Partner with other departments to identify and develop implementation plans for new materials</li> <li>Standardize and manage instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management</li> <li>Ensure data accuracy within ERP or procurement systems/dashboards</li> <li data-section-id="s5vgjx" data-start="3385" data-end="3444">Build visibility across inventory, suppliers, and POs</li> <li data-section-id="1lbrrij" data-start="3445" data-end="3487">Establish KPIs and operating cadence</li> <li data-section-id="1gavfir" data-start="3488" data-end="3539">Shift team from reactive → proactive sourcing</li> </ul> <p data-start="2355" data-end="2381"><strong data-start="2355" data-end="2381">What you’ll walk into:</strong></p> <ul data-start="2382" data-end="2768"> <li data-section-id="14mt13w" data-start="2382" data-end="2458">A fast-growing business where processes and systems are still evolving</li> <li data-section-id="1qaxexe" data-start="2459" data-end="2546">Limited visibility into inventory, supplier timelines, and procurement data today</li> <li data-section-id="11t3wd4" data-start="2547" data-end="2627">Heavy reliance on Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (Oracle / Infor Visual)</li> <li data-section-id="1vuzplr" data-start="2705" data-end="2768">A real opportunity to build structure, not just follow it</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will bring...</strong></p> <ul> <li data-section-id="37wg5a" data-start="2929" data-end="3032">Proven experience building or transforming procurement functions, not just optimizing mature ones</li> <li data-section-id="1en8ghl" data-start="3033" data-end="3100">Experience operating in high-growth or ambiguous environments</li> <li>Experience leading a strategic sourcing team through growth and change</li> <li>Experience collaborating with executive management</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills</li> <li>Advanced level Excel skills are a must, Airtable experience a plus</li> <li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others</li> <li>Experience in Oracle a plus</li> <li>Bachelors degree in related field required</li> <li>At least 10 years of applicable experience with 5 years in a leadership role</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><em>Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.&nbsp; Fanatics never seeks payment from job applicants.
