Associate Director - Quantum

Rimkus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director - Quantum to lead and expand our Quantum Consulting team. In this leadership role, you will leverage your expertise in quantum technologies, research, and applications to provide strategic guidance, innovative solutions, and expert advisory services to our clients across various industries. You will play a critical role in driving the growth of our quantum services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful outcomes that address complex challenges and advance our clients' competitive edge in emerging quantum technologies.

Key responsibilities include defining the strategic direction for quantum consulting services, managing client relationships at senior levels, overseeing project delivery, developing new service offerings, and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on quantum technologies.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in quantum research, consulting, or technology development.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex projects in a consulting or research environment.
• Deep knowledge of quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum communication, or quantum sensing technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and contribute to company growth.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and foster innovation and knowledge sharing.
