As we continue to grow globally, we are expanding our Software Development team in Bengaluru. We are looking for an experienced Associate Director – Software Development to help build and lead this strategic capability.

This is a chance to build and grow a high-performing software development team, working closely with global leadership teams across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia.

About the Role

As Associate Director – Software Development, you will play a key role in building and leading our Software Development Centre in Bengaluru.

You will recruit and develop talented engineers, drive delivery excellence, foster a strong engineering culture, and help ensure our teams deliver innovative, high-quality software solutions that support customers worldwide.

This role combines leadership, organisational development, talent acquisition, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale Corporater's Software Development Centre in Bengaluru.

• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing software development teams.

• Partner with global Engineering, Architecture, and Product Management teams.

• Drive Agile delivery, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

• Support the successful delivery of strategic product initiatives.

• Coach, mentor, and develop future technical and people leaders.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and quality.

• Ensure teams have the tools, processes, and support needed to succeed.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Management, Delivery, Customer Success, and Support.

• Help establish Bengaluru as a strategic software development hub within Corporater's global organisation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 12+ years of experience in software product development.

• Significant experience leading software development teams and managers.

• Proven success in building and scaling engineering organisations.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum-based development methodologies.

• Solid knowledge of software architecture, SDLC, quality assurance, and DevOps practices.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Passion for developing people, teams, and engineering excellence.

Preferred Experience

• SaaS or enterprise software development.

• Building or scaling development centres.

• Experience working within international and cross-functional organisations.

• Exposure to Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), Privacy, or related domains.
