You will be instrumental in preparing the company for its next stage of growth and maturity, overseeing a range of tax and treasury related activities, including federal, state, and international tax filings, tax provisions, annual audits, sales tax reporting, cash planning for international locations, and strategic tax planning.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland, CA office. font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Company Maturity: Lead and coordinate all tax-related activities required for Fivetran's next stage of growth and maturity, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and best practices.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Tax Compliance: Oversee the timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and international income tax returns, including quarterly estimates and extensions.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Tax Provision: Prepare the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Skills We're Looking For</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, private and public companies, with progressive complexity in scope and responsibilities.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Education: CPA or CA designation required.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">Technical Skills: Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including ASC 740, SOX, and international tax principles.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important; font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 10pt;">IPO Readiness: Experience in IPO readiness processes and involvement in IPO-related activities is preferred.</span></p> </li> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0) !important;
