This role is for a senior transformation leader with experience leading large-scale enterprise technology transformations—such as ERP, CRM, and HCM—while serving as the client’s trusted program leader and executive advisor.</p> <p>Directors at West Monroe operate as engagement leaders and growth drivers, owning delivery excellence, client relationships, and business development while shaping firm capabilities. This role will lead complex, multi-year technology programs, often delivered in partnership with third-party system integrators (SIs), ensuring alignment across business strategy, technology delivery, and value realization.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <p><strong>Lead Enterprise Technology Transformations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the program leader for large-scale enterprise technology transformations, coordinating business, technology, and change workstreams across multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Develop roadmap and value case including quantified business benefits, cost-saving opportunities, and ROI metrics for transformations.</li> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, translating strategy into executable roadmaps and driving informed decision-making.</li> <li>Ensure programs deliver measurable business outcomes through strong governance, risk management, and value realization.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising around sound judgment in evaluating outputs.</li> <li>Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Transformation Office &amp; Program Governance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, stand up, and lead Transformation Offices that integrate program governance, technology delivery, change management, enterprise architecture alignment, and benefits tracking.</li> <li>Assess client readiness and define operating models required to execute complex, technology-enabled transformations.</li> <li>Partner with client IT and architecture leaders to ensure alignment between business capabilities, application landscapes, and delivery sequencing.</li> </ul> <p><strong>System Integrator &amp; Vendor Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and govern third-party system integrators, holding delivery partners accountable for scope, quality, timeline, and outcomes.</li> <li>Support SI selection, mobilization, and execution, acting as an independent advisor to the client throughout the lifecycle.</li> <li>Proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, and executive escalations across vendors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Engagement &amp; Firm Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own delivery on engagements of moderate to high complexity, including scope, budget, profitability, team leadership, and client satisfaction.</li> <li>Partner with ES&amp;E and technology leadership to shape firm strategy, offerings, and go-to-market approaches for technology-enabled transformation.</li> <li>Collaborate with industry leaders to tailor solutions for priority markets and clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Business Development &amp; Thought Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Directors and Partners in identifying, shaping and pitching projects to new prospects and existing clients.</li> <li>Develop SOWs, pricing models, and delivery approaches that balance client value and firm economics.</li> <li>Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, points of view, and external publications.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Talent Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop Managers and Consultants, modeling West Monroe values in client and internal settings.</li> <li>Serve as a Career Advisor, supporting performance management and professional growth.</li> <li>Actively participate in recruiting and talent development efforts.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.</li> <li>10+ years of experience leading complex programs or portfolios, including enterprise technology transformations; with at least one of the following:</li> <ul> <li>3+ full lifecycle major system implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM, HCM) with project/program management roles</li> <li>7+ years as part of a transformation office overseeing a large portfolio of initiatives and managing value realization</li> <li>2+ technology workstream lead roles for a merger or carve-out in a moderate-to-high complexity transaction.</li> </ul> <li>Proven experience leading complex programs involving third-party system integrators, including driving vendor governance and executive-level issue management.</li> <li>Experience operating within or establishing Transformation Offices, PMOs, or integrated governance models.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, including business capabilities, application landscapes, and integration considerations.</li> <li>Interface with Private Equity operations and deal teams on aggressive timelines to inform on major risks, dependencies, decisions, and progress on transaction.</li> <li>Strong understanding of program and portfolio governance approaches (PMI, waterfall, Agile, SAFe).</li> <li>Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.</li> <li>Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and client stakeholders.</li> <li>Demonstrated business development experience, including account growth, proposal development, and pricing.</li> <li>Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 50%.</li> </ul> <p>West Monroe’s Operations Excellence practice is focused on driving value from strategy through execution—not merely pointing to best practices and standards.
