This role is designed for a leader with a clear point of view on how organizations improve productivity—combining <strong>workforce analytics, process redesign, cost takeout, and AI-enabled workflow transformation</strong> to unlock measurable value.</p> <p>Our Work &amp; Workforce Transformation team focuses on helping clients redesign how work gets done at scale—improving labor efficiency, reducing cost, increasing throughput, and embedding AI into day-to-day operations.</p> <h3><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></h3> <h4>Lead work transformation &amp; cost takeout engagements</h4> <ul> <li>Lead client engagements focused on labor productivity, cost takeout, operating model improvement, and process redesign</li> <li>Assess workflows, service models, and management systems to identify value leakage</li> <li>Build quantified value cases using operational data, work measurement, and financial modeling</li> <li>Translate opportunities into executable roadmaps with clear ownership, milestones, and value realization</li> </ul> <h4>Drive AI-enabled workflow transformation</h4> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and decision support within business processes</li> <li>Prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and adoption readiness</li> <li>Redesign workflows that embed AI into how work gets done (including human-in-the-loop models)</li> <li>Ensure initiatives are tied to measurable outcomes through KPI definition, tracking, and governance</li> </ul> <h4>Drive business development</h4> <ul> <li>Originate and close productivity/work transformation-focused engagements (e.g., labor optimization, cost takeout, AI-enabled workflow transformation)</li> <li>Develop proposals, scopes, pricing approaches, and staffing models</li> <li>Identify and shape follow-on opportunities by translating client pain points into quantified value stories</li> <li>Partner across industry and technology teams to bring integrated solutions to market</li> </ul> <h4>Lead teams &amp; grow the practice</h4> <ul> <li>Own engagement delivery, team leadership, quality, economics, and client satisfaction</li> <li>Coach team members in productivity methods, structured problem solving, and executive communication</li> <li>Contribute to productivity/workforce methodologies, tools, and go-to-market assets</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or transformation roles</li> <li>Deep experience in productivity improvement, including <strong>labor efficiency, workforce analytics, cost takeout, or process transformation</strong></li> <li>Strong ability to build and communicate <strong>quantified business cases</strong> (workload analysis, capacity, cost, ROI)</li> <li>Experience applying process improvement methods (e.g., lean, workflow analysis, operating model design)</li> <li>Ability to connect <strong>AI (including generative AI and automation)</strong> to practical workflow use cases and measurable outcomes</li> <li>Track record of <strong>selling and delivering work</strong> in a consulting or advisory environment</li> <li>Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Experience in one or more of West Monroe’s core industries preferred</li> </ul> <h3><em>What success looks like</em></h3> <ul> <li>You quickly identify and quantify productivity opportunities and mobilize teams to capture value</li> <li>Engagements deliver measurable outcomes (cost reduction, labor efficiency, throughput improvement, capacity unlock)</li> <li>Clients adopt AI-enabled workflows that drive sustained operational impact</li> <li>You help grow the Work &amp; Workforce Transformation discipline through delivery, mentorship, and business development</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is listed below. <span data-contrast="auto">Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is </span><a href="https://www.westmonroe.com/careers/benefits"><span data-contrast="none">here</span></a><span data-contrast="auto">.&nbsp; Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.​</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;335559739&quot;:180}"> Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale.&nbsp;<br><br></span><span data-contrast="auto">Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
