This role is designed for a leader with a clear point of view on how organizations improve productivity—combining <strong>workforce analytics, process redesign, cost takeout, and AI-enabled workflow transformation</strong> to unlock measurable value.</p>
<p>Our Work & Workforce Transformation team focuses on helping clients redesign how work gets done at scale—improving labor efficiency, reducing cost, increasing throughput, and embedding AI into day-to-day operations.</p>
<h3><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></h3>
<h4>Lead work transformation & cost takeout engagements</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead client engagements focused on labor productivity, cost takeout, operating model improvement, and process redesign</li>
<li>Assess workflows, service models, and management systems to identify value leakage</li>
<li>Build quantified value cases using operational data, work measurement, and financial modeling</li>
<li>Translate opportunities into executable roadmaps with clear ownership, milestones, and value realization</li>
</ul>
<h4>Drive AI-enabled workflow transformation</h4>
<ul>
<li>Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and decision support within business processes</li>
<li>Prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and adoption readiness</li>
<li>Redesign workflows that embed AI into how work gets done (including human-in-the-loop models)</li>
<li>Ensure initiatives are tied to measurable outcomes through KPI definition, tracking, and governance</li>
</ul>
<h4>Drive business development</h4>
<ul>
<li>Originate and close productivity/work transformation-focused engagements (e.g., labor optimization, cost takeout, AI-enabled workflow transformation)</li>
<li>Develop proposals, scopes, pricing approaches, and staffing models</li>
<li>Identify and shape follow-on opportunities by translating client pain points into quantified value stories</li>
<li>Partner across industry and technology teams to bring integrated solutions to market</li>
</ul>
<h4>Lead teams & grow the practice</h4>
<ul>
<li>Own engagement delivery, team leadership, quality, economics, and client satisfaction</li>
<li>Coach team members in productivity methods, structured problem solving, and executive communication</li>
<li>Contribute to productivity/workforce methodologies, tools, and go-to-market assets</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or transformation roles</li>
<li>Deep experience in productivity improvement, including <strong>labor efficiency, workforce analytics, cost takeout, or process transformation</strong></li>
<li>Strong ability to build and communicate <strong>quantified business cases</strong> (workload analysis, capacity, cost, ROI)</li>
<li>Experience applying process improvement methods (e.g., lean, workflow analysis, operating model design)</li>
<li>Ability to connect <strong>AI (including generative AI and automation)</strong> to practical workflow use cases and measurable outcomes</li>
<li>Track record of <strong>selling and delivering work</strong> in a consulting or advisory environment</li>
<li>Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of West Monroe’s core industries preferred</li>
</ul>

<li>You help grow the Work & Workforce Transformation discipline through delivery, mentorship, and business development</li>

Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":180}"> Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale. <br><br></span><span data-contrast="auto">Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses.
