Drama Teacher

We are looking for a Drama Teacher for an international school located in Wuhan. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, commencing in August 2026.

About the role

• Deliver Drama instruction across relevant grade levels, creating engaging and creative lessons that develop students’ confidence, collaboration, performance skills, and artistic expression
• Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with curriculum requirements
• Mark and evaluate student work, and write clear and accurate report comments
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and ongoing improvement
• Assess and monitor student progress, setting clear goals to support achievement and growth
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers
• Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Recognized teaching qualification for the relevant age group
• Minimum 3 years of secondary teaching experience
• IB DP experience preferred
• Good understanding of effective secondary teaching methods
• Culturally aware and able to work well in a cross-cultural environment
