Drama Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth
We are pleased to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth, known for its commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching educational experience. They are seeking a dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and cultivate a passion for the performing arts in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role entails fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression, collaboration, and the development of essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging Drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational goals.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and builds confidence.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Arts department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.

- Passionate about Drama and the performing arts, with a strong commitment to student success.
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Creative and innovative in their teaching approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
