DEFINITION: The Hospital Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of a hospital issued vehicle for official hospital business. This position works as part of an organizational initiative to provide courier services for interdepartmental needs to include transporting laboratory specimens, supplies, and or any other hospital needed item(s).
