Senior Drupal Backend Developer

Advansys is seeking a skilled Senior Drupal Backend Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components of Drupal-based web applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules and backend functionalities.
• Implement and optimize APIs and integrations with third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver seamless content management experiences.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the reliability and security of Drupal applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide recommendations for Drupal best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain coding standards within the team.
• Ensure proper documentation and testing of backend features.
• Stay current with Drupal updates, modules, and community trends to continually enhance application functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in Drupal backend development.
• Strong proficiency with PHP and experience in Drupal 7, 8, or 9 development.
• Experience in developing custom Drupal modules and themes.
• Knowledge of Drupal APIs, hooks, and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git version control and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
