Dunedin Social Club - Security - Part Time

The Role

Our security team is the first point of contact for all of our customers along with being a direct extension of our brand. It is vital that you provide a warm welcome to our guests and continue that rapport throughout the evening.

Your role includes:

• Proactively monitoring intoxication levels within our site.
• Reporting and coordinating with the head of security.
• Managing and de escalating conflict.
• Upholding the sale and supplier of Liquor Act 2012.
• Checking IDs.

Skills / Experience 

Security experience along with a COA is preferred however not essential. We will pay for you to receive your COA if required and we will also provide on the job training.

We are more importantly looking for candidates who will:

• Be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Communicate effectively
• Be trustworthy and mature
• Be able to control tricky situations and conversations responsibly
• Share the passion we have for our brand and demonstrate this
