Duty Manager - On the Spot Northlake

On The Spot Northlake is based in the heart of the Northlake community. We are on the lookout for a Duty Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a varied role requiring a dynamic person who is willing to get to know people and be a friendly face of the Northlake Community. We are committed to providing our customers with a great range of quality products and amazing customer service.

 

This role requires a current Duty Manager’s certificate, or, six months recent experience in the sale of alcohol and a willingness to undertake a short course in the sale and supply of alcohol to gain your LCQ. Applicants need to be extremely trustworthy, mature and able to make confident and informed decisions as you will be leading the sale and supply of alcohol on behalf of the store.

 

Applicants need to be able to work at least one weekend shift a week as well as a range of day and evening shifts.

 

Key Tasks Include:

 

• Serving customers on the tils for general grocery purchases
• Supporting other staff with processing the sale of alcoholic beverages and checking ID when necessary
• Responding to customers’ inquiries and handling any issues to find a solution
• Ensuring every customer gets quick and friendly service and receives quality goods
• Helping to maintain great presentation of the store and rotating stock
• Cooking product and ensuring adherence to Food Safety and Health and Safety processes (training will be given)
