About the role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Operations Management
- Supervise daily CNC machining activities.
- Allocate jobs to machines and operators based on production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal utilization.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure components meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
- Implement in-process inspection and coordinate with the quality team.
- Address non-conformance and initiate corrective actions.
- Team Management
- Lead and train CNC operators and technicians.
- Maintain discipline and safety standards on the shop floor.
- Conduct skill development programs for operators.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot programming and operational issues.
- Process Improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize cycle times and reduce scrap/waste.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production records, tool usage logs, and machine health reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management.
Experience & Qualification : 8 – 10+ years.
Qualification : BE/ Diploma
