Early Childhood Therapy Assistant - Carmacks

Term position, up to 35 hours a week

Starting August 2026 – June 2027

Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre, a not-for-profit organization which provides quality early intervention services to young children.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing support to children in the early kindergarten program at Tantalus Community School & visits to families/children in the community.
• Working with children following a specific program developed by the Child Development Centre outreach team. Training will be provided by the outreach team.
• Working with a team, including family members, Child Development Centre staff, and school staff.
• Maintaining documentation and other administrative duties as requested.

 

Qualifications:

Must be reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently. Preference will be given to individuals who have related education and experience working with young children. Training will be provided.

Salary: $29.69 – $36.13 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

This position is covered by the Public Service Alliance of Canada collective agreement.
