The Role:
As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will play a key role in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning styles
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Contributing to the development of the Economics curriculum
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice
- Participating in departmental and school-wide activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A strong academic background in Economics
- Proven experience teaching Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Economics
- A commitment to fostering student achievement
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
