<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>We are now looking to expand our footprint across India’s academic and research ecosystem, by hiring a seasoned sales strategic individual contributor who understands how to engage and partner with educational and research institutions to drive the adoption of cutting-edge Gen AI infrastructure and platforms. We are seeking a results-driven and strategic <strong>Academic, Research &</strong> <strong>EdTech Sales and Business Development Professional to </strong>manage our existing accounts. The role involves driving engagement with <strong>universities, colleges, research institutes </strong>to the ecosystem of education and research as a whole.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring strong relationship management and satisfaction.</li>
<li>Conduct regular onsite visits to maintain close engagement with clients and address their evolving needs.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Neysa.ai’s solutions to existing clients, driving revenue growth.</li>
<li>Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, industry trends, and market demands to tailor solutions accordingly.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to deliver seamless client experiences.</li>
<li>Generate and maintain sales reports, account performance metrics, and pipeline forecasts.</li>
<li>Work towards achieving and exceeding sales and account expansion targets.</li>
<li>Stay updated on competitors and industry developments to strategize effectively.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>6 to 7 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a similar role.</li>
<li>Strong background in managing and growing accounts (farming), ideally within education, edutech, SaaS, or enterprise tech.</li>
<li>Comfortable with on-ground travel and direct client engagement.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to identify new revenue opportunities within existing relationships.</li>
<li>Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and maximize revenue from existing accounts.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to client engagement.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Prior experience in AI, SaaS, or technology-driven industries is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience working with academic stakeholders (faculty, department heads, procurement, IT) is a plus.</li>
