This role will be<br>responsible for assembling, refining, and delivering high-quality edits that capture the energy,<br>adventure, and personality of the channel and the Dude Perfect brand.<br>This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced YouTube production<br>environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing full edits independently, from ingest<br>and organization through final delivery. They understand YouTube pacing, unscripted<br>storytelling, and competition-style formats, and can craft compelling and engaging narratives.<br>This role will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and the Production<br>Manager to ensure every video meets the highest standard of quality and performance.<br>The Editor will report directly to the Lead Editor.</p> <p>I<strong>nitial Responsibilities:</strong><br><strong>Editorial Execution:</strong><br>● Edit compelling sports, spectacle, and outdoor content from first assembly through final<br>delivery.<br>● Shape pacing, tone, and structure to maximize engagement and retention.<br>● Maintain clarity and storytelling continuity across multi-camera and competition-style<br>formats.</p> <p><strong>Collaboration:</strong><br>● Partner closely with Creative Directors and Producers to translate concepts into<br>compelling edits.<br>● Incorporate feedback efficiently while meeting delivery timelines.<br>● Communicate proactively about post-production needs and project statuses.<br>Workflow, Quality, and Other<br>● Manage project organization, media ingestion, and file structure.<br>● Maintain adherence to post-production workflows, asset management standards, and<br>style guidelines.<br>● Ensure final deliverables meet technical specifications and platform requirements.<br>● Uphold consistent editorial quality aligned with the Dude Perfect brand and standards.<br>● All other duties as assigned.</p> <p><strong>Preferred Requirements:</strong><br>● 3-5+ years of professional editing experience in digital media, sports, entertainment, or<br>high-concept YouTube-first content.<br>● Proven ability to independently manage full edits from ingest through final delivery.<br>● Strong understanding of long-form YouTube pacing, retention mechanics, and audience<br>engagement.<br>● Experience editing unscripted, competition-based content strongly preferred.<br>● Comfort working with multi-camera productions.<br>● Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software.<br>● Strong communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback.<br>● Experience working within fast-paced, high-output content teams.</p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong><br>● Health, dental, vision insurance<br>● 401(k)&nbsp;<br>● Paid time off &amp; holidays<br>● Unique access to Dude Perfect productions, events, and experiences</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>This position is located onsite at Dude Perfect HQ3 offices in Frisco, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex)<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time<br><strong>Travel Required:</strong> No</p>
