<p><em><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun">Launched in February 2026, our newest location in Brookfield, WI, is home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers will build our </span><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun">adolescent</span><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun"> and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.</span></span></em><em><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun"> </span></span></em><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="none">Compass Health Center is seeking an Education Specialist who is passionate about working with adolescents. This is a full time position during the school year. Our Education Specialists work alongside experienced clinicians and support adolescents (aged 12-18) who are struggling with a variety of mental health needs. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the patient’s school, the family and Compass for all education needs. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Oversee the obtaining and sharing of school assignments with the patients’ home schools </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Complete educational assessments with patients to determine academic needs </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Create academic plans with patients </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Provide support to parents/guardians as it pertains to the patient’s educational needs and provide them with educational updates </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Assist patients with executive functioning skills, as needed</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Lead supervised study, executive functioning skills groups and other academic groups, as needed</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Proctor school assessments </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Chart communication with parents, schools, and patients </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="none">In partnership with primary therapists, oversee the school staffing process including prepping the patient as well as coordinating, facilitating, and participating in school staffings and other school meetings </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Prepare proper documentation for school throughout the patient stay </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Provide the team with updates including the transition plan and school staffing </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">When needed, support outreach efforts to schools</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Focus on building relationships with schools which may include coordinating, planning and co-leading school presentations </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="none">Experience working in a school setting with students who have emotional disabilities </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. <p>Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming. Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare.<em> </em> </p>
