<div>We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated production shift manager for the powertrain shop. Production Shift Manager will oversee and be responsible for the entire Powertrain operation through supervision, coordination, coaching/training and providing leadership to the assigned staff. In this role, you will be the lead of the planning and execution of the Powertrain production operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the Powertrain Production team, ensuring seamless integration into the overall production process, and the successful launch and execution of highly automated Powertrain operations.</div>

<div>Key Responsibilities:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>1. Production Planning & Execution · Supervise all stages of the powertrain shop such as Drive Unit and HV Battery. · Execute daily and weekly production plans in coordination with wider stakeholders · Monitor real-time production metrics such as cycle time, takt time, and hourly build targets. · Manage shift handovers with detailed reports on production output, defects, downtime, and personnel performance.</div>

<div>2. Quality Management · Ensure all painting processes meet or exceed internal and customer quality standards.</div>
<div> · Manage control plans and visual inspection processes at various checkpoints · Investigate and resolve process issues leading to defects.</div>
<div>· Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Engineering departments to drive root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA).</div>

<div> 3. Equipment & Process Management · Ensure optimal performance of production equipment and facilities.</div>
<div>· Collaborate with maintenance and automation teams to minimize breakdowns and maintain OEE.</div>
<div>· Support introduction of new models or variants through process validation and capability studies.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> 4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)</div>
<div> · Enforce strict compliance with safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazardous material handling, and fire safety protocols.</div>
<div> · Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response drills.</div>
<div>· Manage waste disposal and emissions control in compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., VOC limits).</div>

<div>5. Team Management & Development</div>
<div> · Lead and mentor a team of operators, inspectors, and line leaders.</div>
<div> · Develop skills matrix and training plans for cross-functional and cross-shift capability building.</div>
<div> · Conduct performance appraisals, absentee management, and conflict resolution.</div>
<div>· Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> 6. Continuous Improvement · Drive Lean Manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, and Kanban within the Powertrain shop.</div>
<div>· Participate in and lead Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing rework, material waste, and cycle time.</div>
<div>· Analyze daily KPIs and use data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.</div>

<div>7. Documentation & Compliance· Maintain accurate records for process parameters, quality checks, shift reports, OEE, and downtime logs.</div>
<div>· Ensure process compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and local regulatory frameworks.</div>
<div>· Prepare for and support internal and external audits (e.g., customer audits, ISO/TS audits).</div>

<div>Skills:</div>

<div>Minimum Qualifications:</div>
<div>
<p>Bachelor's degree in operations or engineering with a powertrain area preferred</p>
</div>
<div> · 13+ years of experience in automotive industry at reputable OEMs, with a strong background in Powertrain operations on panels class-A both steel and aluminum, high automation level, and launch activities.</div>
<div> · Have good knowledge about Powertrain Safety procedures and Standards.</div>
<div> · Previous experience in a leadership role overseeing Powertrain shop operations.</div>
<div> · Excellent knowledge of Powertrain processes and equipment (E-Powertrain - HV Battery and Drive Unit).</div>
<div> · Proven leadership and managerial skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams.</div>
<div>· Must possess strong supervision, leadership, and coaching/training skills.</div>
<div>· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</div>
<div>· Must be driven self-starter that works with little supervision.</div>
<div>· Must have good written and verbal communication skills.</div>
<div> · Must possess the ability to multi-task and set priorities.</div>
<div> · Must be a Team player and have the ability to interact effectively with all departments within the Company.</div>
<div>· Must have good Windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Autocad, CatiaV5… etc.).</div>
<div>· Flexibility in the work schedule is required (including evenings and weekends, as needed).</div>
<div> · ISO/QS/TS knowledge preferred.</div>
<div>· SAP/ERP experience preferred.</div>
<div>· Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.</div>
