We’re looking for a highly motivated engineer with <strong>hands-on experience in low-voltage battery systems, hybrid powertrains, and electrified equipment</strong>, ideally from the <strong>automotive EV or alternative energy industries</strong>.</p> <p>This role will be primarily responsible for the <strong>design, development, and integration of low-voltage battery systems and hybrid vehicle architectures</strong>, supporting EquipmentShare’s next-generation electrified equipment platforms.</p> <h3><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and develop <strong>low-voltage battery systems</strong>, including battery packs, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and charging architectures</li> <li>Lead the development of <strong>hybrid and electrified powertrain systems</strong>, including integration with ICE and electric drive components</li> <li>Define and specify <strong>HV electrical architectures</strong>, including wire harnesses, connectors, safety systems (contactors, fusing, isolation), and power distribution</li> <li>Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on <strong>battery cell selection, pack design, thermal management, and charging solutions</strong></li> <li>Ensure compliance with <strong>low-voltage safety standards</strong>, functional safety, and regulatory requirements</li> <li>Support <strong>system integration, validation, and testing</strong> of battery and hybrid systems, including lab and field testing</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, validation, and suppliers to deliver <strong>robust, cost-effective electrification solutions</strong></li> <li>Create and maintain detailed <strong>design documentation, schematics, and validation plans</strong> for production</li> <li>Utilize CAD tools for <strong>packaging of battery systems, HV routing, and system layouts</strong></li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement of electrification platforms and support additional design projects as needed</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why EquipmentShare?</strong></h3> <p>Because we do things differently — and we think you’ll feel it from day one.
