We build fast and iterate quickly.&nbsp; We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of spacecraft electrical systems and defense-related space technologies.&nbsp; In this role, you will contribute to spacecraft avionics, communications, &nbsp;power systems, embedded electronics, and hardware integration activities while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge aerospace hardware in a fast-paced environment supporting national security and spaceflight missions.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Where&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;Make an Impact</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Support the design, analysis, integration, and testing of spacecraft electrical systems and subsystems</li> <li>Assist with development of avionics hardware, electrical interfaces, harnessing, communications, and power distribution systems</li> <li>Perform schematic capture, electrical analysis, and support PCB layout activities</li> <li>Support integration and testing of spacecraft hardware in lab, cleanroom, and environmental test settings</li> <li>Execute electrical troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and other test equipment</li> <li>Assist with hardware bring-up, validation testing, and anomaly resolution activities</li> <li>Develop and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, interface control documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, and test procedures</li> <li>Support system integration activities with software, electrical, propulsion, and mechanical engineering teams</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, technical trade studies, and engineering assessments</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for electrical processes, testing, and system reliability&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What It Takes</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field</li> <li>0–3 years of professional engineering experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or related high-reliability industries</li> <li>Fundamental understanding of analog and digital electronics principles</li> <li>Familiarity with circuit design, schematic interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting</li> <li>Experience using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators</li> <li>Exposure to embedded systems, avionics, or spacecraft electrical architectures</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation</li> <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional technical teams</li> <li>Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, iterative engineering environment&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Nice-to-Have Experience</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Experience related to spacecraft, satellites, avionics, robotics, or defense systems</li> <li>Familiarity with spacecraft communication interfaces such as RS-422, RS-485, SpaceWire, LVDS, Ethernet, I2C, and SPI</li> <li>Experience with ECAD tools such as OrCAD, Altium, or KiCAD</li> <li>Exposure to FPGA systems, microcontrollers, or embedded software development</li> <li>Experience with electrical simulation tools such as LTspice</li> <li>Familiarity with environmental testing including TVAC, vibration, and EMI/EMC testing</li> <li>Basic scripting or automation experience utilizing Python or similar tools</li> <li>Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and cleanroom operations</li> <li>Participation in aerospace, robotics, or defense-related engineering projects&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;Get</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ownership – Contribute directly to the design, integration, and validation of mission-critical spacecraft electrical systems</li> <li>Innovation – Support development of advanced aerospace and defense technologies enabling next-generation space operations</li> <li>Impact – Help deliver reliable, flight-ready hardware supporting national security, civil, and commercial missions</li> <li>Growth – Join a cross-functional engineering team at the center of spacecraft development, integration, and mission execution</li> <li>Compensation – Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, generous leave, FSA, 401(k) matching, and equity sharing&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.&nbsp;</p> <p>Apply now.
