About the role
Key responsibilities:
Regular inspection of electrical equipment, including MV/HV systems, transformers, switchgear, PCS, auxiliary power systems, protection and control panels
Support in preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Participation in electrical testing, functional checks, energization/de-energization procedures, and operational switching activities
Monitoring of alarms, electrical parameters, equipment behavior, and abnormal events
Support in BESS performance testing, grid compliance tests, reactive power tests, ramp-rate checks, and availability analysis
Coordination with OEM engineers, subcontractors, DSO/TSO representatives, and service providers
Preparation of technical reports, inspection records, defect lists, and corrective action follow-up
Support with spare parts planning and technical documentation review
Ensuring that all electrical works are performed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and HSE procedures
Required profile:
Degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field
Experience with MV electrical systems, preferably in substations, renewable energy, industrial installations, solar parks, or BESS projects
Experience with transformers, MV switchgear, protection systems, cabling, grounding, UPS/DC systems, and auxiliary systems
Ability to read and understand SLDs, electrical layouts, protection schemes, test protocols, and technical manuals
Romanian electrical authorization/license is preferred or required depending on the final legal scope of work
Romanian and English language skills are required
