As an Electrical Engineer – Production &amp; Test, you will work with experienced engineers and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot complex hardware, solve challenging technical problems, and help ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on hardware troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and working directly with cutting-edge electronic systems. Your work will have a direct impact on product performance, production success, and customer mission readiness.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Tucson, AZ (Onsite)<br><strong>Shift:</strong> Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM<br><strong>Relocation Assistance Available</strong><br><strong>U.S. Citizenship Required</strong><br><strong>Secret Clearance Active or Eligible</strong></p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues on complex electronic assemblies and subsystems</li> <li>Debug digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and other lab equipment</li> <li>Investigate product failures and identify root causes</li> <li>Partner with manufacturing, quality, test, engineering, and supplier teams to implement corrective actions</li> <li>Support production operations by improving product yield and reducing recurring issues</li> <li>Review schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials to support failure analysis</li> <li>Analyze production data and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities</li> <li>Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering updates, and discrepancy reports</li> <li>Support supplier technical discussions and issue resolution efforts</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and manufacturing performance</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field</li> <li>Experience testing, troubleshooting, or supporting electronic hardware in a production, manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering environment</li> <li>Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies</li> <li>Ability to read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials</li> <li>Experience performing root-cause analysis and solving technical problems</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li> <li>Ability to work onsite in Tucson, AZ</li> <li>U.S. Citizenship required</li> <li>Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting production or manufacturing operations</li> <li>Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other high-reliability industries</li> <li>Experience with RF, mixed-signal, or subsystem-level testing</li> <li>Knowledge of engineering change processes, ECOs, and configuration-controlled documentation</li> <li>Experience with yield improvement or continuous improvement initiatives</li> <li>Familiarity with MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar engineering tools</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work on advanced aerospace and defense technologies</li> <li>Solve challenging technical problems in a highly collaborative environment</li> <li>Be part of a team where your contributions directly impact product success</li> <li>Gain exposure to complex electronic systems and cross-functional engineering teams</li> <li>Relocation assistance available</li> <li>Opportunity to support meaningful, mission-critical programs</li> </ul> <p><strong>If you're passionate about electronics, troubleshooting, and making an impact through engineering excellence, we'd love to hear from you.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications</p></div><div class="title">Pay Ranges</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$62</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$67 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p>At <strong style="color: #662a53;">Quest Defense Systems and Solutions</strong>, we don’t just build technology — we engineer the future.
