This role is ideal for an <strong>electrician</strong> or <strong>electrical technician</strong> who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting, working independently in the field, and supporting critical infrastructure that communities rely on every day.</p> <p>This position is part of a growing service team and offers the opportunity to help shape how the role evolves over time.</p> <p><strong>Pay &amp; Benefits:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay + OT, service call pay &amp; prevailing wage work.</li> <li>Company vehicle, tools, PPE, FR clothing &amp; boot allowance provided.</li> <li>Medical, dental, vision &amp; 401(k).</li> <li>Training and education reimbursement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What&nbsp;You’ll&nbsp;Do</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and repair municipal pump station electrical and control systems</li> <li>Work with control panels, motor controls, and field wiring</li> <li>Read schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose electrical issues</li> <li>Support VFDs, starters, relays, and control components</li> <li>Assist with basic PLC and SCADA troubleshooting (monitoring, diagnostics, resets — not programming)</li> <li>Wire and support temporary pumps, generators, and control panels</li> <li>Respond to service calls and help restore systems safely and efficiently</li> <li>Work independently in outdoor, municipal, and service environments</li> </ul> <p><strong>What&nbsp;We’re&nbsp;Looking For</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical troubleshooting experience in field, service, municipal, or industrial environments</li> <li>Experience working with control panels and electrical control circuits</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams</li> <li>Comfortable working independently in the field</li> <li>PLC / controls exposure preferred (troubleshooting &amp; diagnostics only)</li> <li>Pump station or water/wastewater experience a plus, not required — training provided</li> <li>Valid driver’s license</li> <li>Arc flash / electrical safety training (or willingness to obtain)</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Allied Technical Services</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Allied Technical Services is a <strong>family‑owned company</strong> specializing in municipal and industrial pumping equipment, electrical support, and emergency response services.
