Backed by our founders' successful exits from two previous ventures acquired for a combined $180M in 2022, we are committed to ensuring that the groundbreaking technologies we develop will have a real-world impact.</p> <h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2> <p>Allen Control Systems is seeking a highly skilled <strong>Electronics Technician</strong> to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in soldering, cable fabrication, and circuit debugging, as well as a strong understanding of electrical schematics and test equipment.</p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with industry standards.</li> <li>Fabricate and terminate cables, wiring harnesses, and connectors for electronic systems.</li> <li>Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical and electronic circuits.</li> <li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.</li> <li>Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.</li> <li>Assist engineers in the development and refinement of electronic prototypes and production units.</li> <li>Create and maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, modifications, and system repairs.</li> <li>Adhere to company and industry quality and safety standards when handling electronic components and assemblies.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You'll Need</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, and troubleshooting preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency in soldering and PCB rework (through-hole and surface-mount).</li> <li>Strong cable-making and wiring harness assembly skills.</li> <li>Experience with circuit debugging and troubleshooting techniques.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.</li> <li>Familiarity with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Understanding of industry safety procedures related to electronic assembly and repair.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>ACS Equity Package</li> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> </ul> <p>Allen Control Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer, providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
