You will be part of a small, high-impact team building flight software at the cutting edge of reliability, safety, and performance. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-driven engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and advancing the state of the art in aerospace.</p> <p>&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for avionics throughout the product lifecycle</li> <li>Develop and maintain ground support software tools and systems</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally to define and deliver new software features</li> <li>Document designs, code, and procedures to ensure maintainability and compliance</li> <li>Debug, optimize, and support software and hardware integration efforts</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field</li> <li>4+ years of professional experience in embedded C/C++ development for ARM, SoC, or FPGA softcore platforms</li> <li>Hands-on experience with hardware interface programming (timers, interrupts, communication protocols, ADCs, etc.)</li> <li>Proficiency reading schematics and debugging with hardware tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)</li> <li>Experience using version control systems such as Git</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative settings, managing multiple priorities</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Desirable Experience:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Experience with software development standards such as RTCA DO-178</li> <li>Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or other scripting languages</li> <li>Exposure to continuous integration, automated build/test, and hardware-in-the-loop systems</li> <li>Understanding of FPGA development and HDL</li> <li>Experience with RTOS and/or Linux-based embedded systems</li> <li>Familiarity with controls engineering (sensors, actuators, and motors)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Benefits Include</p> <ul> <li>Unlimited PTO - Vacation, Sick, Personal, and Bereavement</li> <li>Paid maternity/paternity/adoptive leave</li> <li>Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; Tax Advantage Accounts (HSA/FSA); Employer Paid Short and Long-Term Disability, Basic Life, AD&amp;D and EAP Program; Additional Benefit Options Including Voluntary Life, Emergency Medical Transport and Pet Insurance</li> <li>Retirement Savings Plan - Traditional 401(k) and a Roth 401(k)</li> <li>Company stock options</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $125,000 - $155,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
