Embedded Software Test Engineer

Our client designs and manufactures automotive electronics for increased efficiency, safety and comfort in vehicles, for our clients all over the world and is now in a fast-growing stage.

The Role

• Perform white box sw tests of the electronic unit (Sw unit tests, integration tests, sw qualification tests – functional white box)
• Development and maintenance of the software test specifications (module and integration tests), based on the existing software specifications and architecture.
• Perform the automated dynamic module/unit and integration testing of the embedded software, with determination of the code coverage.
• Report test results and support the software team in clarifications/ issues identification
• Improvement of test process and test environment when potential for benefits is seen
• Support our zero-error at customer strategy

You

• University degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a similar qualification
• Experience in testing of embedded software (>3 years): sw unit tests, sw integration tests, sw qualification and Hw-Sw integration tests ;
• Experience in using software unit testing or component testing tools (preferred: Tessy, but could be other – Rational Test Realtime, VectorCast, Cantata, Parasoft DTP, etc…)
• Good knowledge of C language
• Doors – good knowledge
• Overview electronics and Embedded systems
• Overview about test methodologies (ISTQB certification helps)
• Good English language skills
