This full-time role supports our clinical providers by assisting with pre- and post-operative patient care at our office-based surgical partners, with a primary focus on a growing pediatric dental practice.</p> <h3 data-start="715" data-end="733">What You’ll Do</h3> <p data-start="734" data-end="886">As an EMT with AAC Midwest, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring a safe, smooth, and positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul data-start="888" data-end="1181"> <li data-start="888" data-end="980"> <p data-start="890" data-end="980">Escorting patients to procedure rooms and assisting with positioning on procedure tables</p> </li> <li data-start="981" data-end="1033"> <p data-start="983" data-end="1033">Applying and removing patient monitors and leads</p> </li> <li data-start="1034" data-end="1103"> <p data-start="1036" data-end="1103">Transporting patients safely between procedure and recovery areas</p> </li> <li data-start="1104" data-end="1181"> <p data-start="1106" data-end="1181">Supporting the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and comfort</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="1183" data-end="1209">What We’re Looking For</h3> <p data-start="1210" data-end="1388">First and foremost, we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about patients and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience—for both patients and physician partners.</p> <p data-start="1390" data-end="1417"><strong data-start="1390" data-end="1417">Qualifications include:</strong></p> <ul data-start="1418" data-end="1779"> <li data-start="1418" data-end="1486"> <p data-start="1420" data-end="1486">Current EMT certification <strong data-start="1446" data-end="1452">or</strong> Medical Assistant certification</p> </li> <li data-start="1487" data-end="1516"> <p data-start="1489" data-end="1516">Current BLS certification</p> </li> <li data-start="1517" data-end="1573"> <p data-start="1519" data-end="1573">Energetic, personable, and customer-service oriented</p> </li> <li data-start="1574" data-end="1651"> <p data-start="1576" data-end="1651">Reliable, responsible, and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment</p> </li> <li data-start="1652" data-end="1723"> <p data-start="1654" data-end="1723">A true team player who is eager to learn and take on new challenges</p> </li> <li data-start="1724" data-end="1779"> <p data-start="1726" data-end="1779">Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without limitations</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="1781" data-end="1795">Who We Are</h3> <p data-start="1796" data-end="2274">AAC Midwest is an office-based anesthesia practice providing comprehensive peri-operative services for physicians, surgeons, and dentists.
