Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Lead & Drive
Clinical & Operational Leadership
- Oversee emergency behavioral health services, crisis response, and intake operations across multiple service points
- Ensure compliance with Rhode Island Mental Health Law, CCBHC, HRSA, and Joint Commission standards
- Lead 24/7 coverage planning, staffing, and performance monitoring
- Drive timely, same-day access to care and reduce barriers to engagement
Access & Performance Excellence
- Monitor key access metrics including wait times, no-shows, and appointment availability
- Optimize staff scheduling and client assignment based on clinical need and provider capacity
- Ensure individuals receive care regardless of diagnosis, insurance, or ability to pay
Crisis Response & Direct Care
- Provide direct crisis intervention, psychiatric assessments, and risk evaluations
- Determine appropriate levels of care, from outpatient services to hospitalization
- Collaborate with hospitals, mobile crisis teams, law enforcement, and community partners
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor clinical and access staff
- Deliver training in crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and compliance standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and clinical excellence
Partnerships & System Coordination
- Build strong relationships with hospitals, schools, and community providers
- Ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
- Represent the organization in community and system-level initiatives

Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW), Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling
- Independently licensed clinician (LICSW/LMHC)
- Three (3) to five (5) years post-graduate clinical experience in crisis intervention.
- Demonstrated experience in behavioral health crisis assessment, triage, and care coordination.
- Experience supervising clinical staff and managing operational workflows in a behavioral health setting.
