About the role

Drive the energy transition by providing sustainable technological solutions through our digital platform, facilitating from planning to contract tendering to implementation of renewable energy systems in real estate and industrial companies. We enable our customers to increase the economic efficiency and CO2 balance of their properties while minimizing technical, commercial, and energy risks.

To strengthen our Product Management team, we are looking for an **Energy Data Engineer** who will contribute to the analysis of energy data, support the development of AI-based price and energy forecasts, and generate actionable insights through the analysis of operational and financial performance. Tasks

  • Analyze energy data, including production, consumption, and storage information to identify optimization opportunities
  • Conduct AI-based market analysis and contribute to the development of price and energy forecasts
  • Analyze asset data, project progress and operational, environmental as well as financial performance
  • Perform trend, variance and gap analysis, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Validate data quality and perform plausibility checks to continuously improve analytical outputs
  • Develop and maintain a central data and reporting infrastructure in close collaboration with IT teams
  • Create KPI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with management, operations, sales, and country organizations to support data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within an energy sector
  • Proven experience in designing and building purpose-driven analytical environments
  • Experienced in building data pipelines, including data extraction, validation, transformation and loading
  • Practical experience working with modern cloud data infrastructures such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks
  • Ideally, experience applying and training AI models and machine learning algorithms
  • High level of proficiency in SQL and solid experience with Python, R, MATLAB or comparable programming languages
