About the role
Intertek is seeking a Junior Engineer / Office Assistant of Owner Engineer Office to support our growing engineering team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain valuable experience in the engineering and project management sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers and project managers in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Support the Owner Engineer Office in managing project schedules, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project development and decision-making processes.
- Participate in project meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items.
- Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Help maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure documentation is well organized and easily accessible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
