This is a full-time, in-person position.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In this role, you will support <strong>mission-critical facilities</strong>, including data centers, by assisting with the procurement, coordination, and delivery of major mechanical and electrical equipment. The MEP Engineer – Equipment Delivery works closely with vendors, designers, and project teams to ensure equipment is compliant with project requirements and delivered on time and within budget.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the mechanical and electrical construction needs of mission-critical facilities and related projects.</li> <li>Assist with procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment, including vendor coordination and contract deliverables.</li> <li>Coordinate equipment submittals and manage deliverables from contract award through manufacturing and delivery.</li> <li>Communicate regularly with MEP equipment vendors, design engineers, and onsite project teams.</li> <li>Track equipment deliveries from manufacturing facilities to project sites and support associated cost tracking.</li> <li>Review and interpret electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Coordinate scopes, schedules, RFIs, and change orders in collaboration with project teams.</li> <li>Ensure proper coordination of schedules, logistics, and delivery requirements to support project milestones.</li> <li>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and onsite teams to ensure equipment readiness.</li> <li>Utilize standardized tools, processes, and procedures to support successful equipment delivery.</li> <li>Track performance using KPIs and support data-driven analysis to improve supply chain efficiency.</li> <li>Assist with development and maintenance of analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting metrics.</li> <li>Identify potential issues related to scope, schedule, cost, or logistics and support timely resolution.</li> <li>Travel to vendor or integrator facilities as needed for scope alignment, inspections, testing, or commissioning activities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li> <li>2+ years of commercial construction experience supporting large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.</li> <li>Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of MEP systems and equipment.</li> <li>Experience coordinating scopes, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and tracking project budgets and costs.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil plans and specifications.</li> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.</li> <li>Ability to identify, communicate, and assist with resolving project issues.</li> <li>Willingness to travel as required for vendor coordination and offsite activities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Holder is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE).</span></span></p> <p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text">​</span><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment and&nbsp;Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.</span></span></p></div>
