As a Field Process Engineer at ASM, you’ll work directly with customers to optimize thin-film deposition processes that power the future of semiconductor technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving performance, precision, and customer satisfaction.</p> <p><strong>What you will be working on</strong></p> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation to support ASM’s business goals.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Provide technical guidance during tool installs, repairs, operations, and calibration.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Develop and refine process recipes, collaborating with hardware engineering to meet customer performance targets.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Analyze complex data to define problems, develop solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Partner with customers to optimize tool performance and meet integration requirements.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Create and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">2+ years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Strong customer-focused mindset and communication skills in Korean and English.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate safety equipment.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Proficiency in MS Office tools.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Deep understanding of semiconductor process flows, especially ALD, PEALD, EPI, CVD, PECVD.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Knowledge of thin-film deposition technologies.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Fluent English communication&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Apply today to be part of what’s next.</strong></p> <p>We make the tech that enables the chips in devices which improve lives around the world.
