<div class="content-intro"><p>We awaken the world with energy.</p> <p>LG Energy Solution is the global leader in lithium-ion battery technology for electric vehicles and energy storage solutions.&nbsp; Located in Queen Creek, Arizona, LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is LG Group's first cylindrical battery manufacturer in North America, leading the widespread distribution of electric vehicles with the most advanced battery technology in the world.</p> <p>Join us as we inspire our talent with growth, challenge, action and collaboration to Empower Every Possibility!</p></div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>As the Engineer II of Inspection Technology, you will lead prevention of quality issues maximizing yield and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through the establishment of inspection systems, improvement of inspection equipment performance, and the introduction of new equipment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Establish and manage the inspection machine standards revision through Process Flow Diagrams for both Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance as well as Process Down Manuals</p> <p>Analyze system breakdowns or failures to improve false “No Good” rate and determine root causes; identify and implement required improvements</p> <p>Communicate the installation schedule of vision system equipment to production teams, HQ, and vendors.</p> <p>Collaborate with vendor support for programming activity of vision systems</p> <p>Review daily production reports on improvements and KPIs, which are distributed to production teams and HQ</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>Minimum of 3 years in engineering equipment experience in production/plant environment (including internship or co-op acceptable).</p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.</p> <p>Experience in a manufacturing environment with equipment and processes such as Programmable Logic Controllers, Statistical Process Control, Manufacturing Execution System, etc.)</p> <p>Experience operating in manufacturing setting with Total Productive and Preventive Maintenance methodologies</p> <p>Knowledge of Six Sigma</p> <p>Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support resolution of production abnormalities</p> <p>Deep understanding of measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&amp;R using Minitab</p> <p>Experience in maintaining in-line inspection systems (Machine Vision, 3D metrology, X-ray, and CT)</p> <p>Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours</p> <ul> <li>Safety glasses</li> <li>Steel-toed shoes</li> </ul> <p>Must be able to perform the following over the course of up to 12 hours per day</p> <ul> <li>Lift/push/pull up to 35 pounds on occasion</li> <li>Stoop, twist, bend</li> <li>Reach overhead</li> <li>Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to deal with ambiguity and make sound decisions</li> <li>Effective workflow and process management</li> <li>Planning skills and effective communication of priorities</li> <li>Experience with machine vision algorithm libraries (Halcon, OpenCV) and deep learning models</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why should you work here?</span></p> <p>1.
