Engineer I, Satellite Engineering

The Job

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair and support of all mechanical/electrical antenna facilities in the Hong Kong Earth Stations, will also be required to support service assurance activities and new installations.

 

Requirements

• Higher Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline plus a minimum of 1 year in mechanic engineering experience,

• Hands on experience for servicing and repairing heavy mechanical and electrical components,

• Well Trained and experience with hand and machine tools used in the repair of mechanical/electrical equipment,

• Experience in rigging,

• Knowledge and experience in corrosion prevention and welding,

• Confidence in working outdoors at heights and standby duty after office hour for emergency callout,

• Required to report for work or remain on duty when Typhoon or Rainstorm Warning is in force, and

• Holder of valid Grade A Certificate in Electrical Worker and HK driving license class 2 will be an advantage.

所需資歷:

 

• 機械/電機工程證書或相關工作證明，並至少擁有1年機械工程經驗；

• 具備維修重型機械和電氣零件的實務經驗；

• 接受過機械/電氣設備維修中常用手動和機械工具的全面培訓並擁有相關經驗；

• 具備豐富的索具操作經驗；

• 具備防腐及焊接知識及經驗；

• 能夠自信地在戶外高空作業，並能在下班後待命以應對緊急情況；

• 颱風或暴雨警告生效時，需到崗工作或堅守崗位；

• 持有有效的A級電工證照和香港2級駕駛執照者優先考慮
