Engineering (Non-programme based Graduate Hiring)

We are seeking passionate talents to join HKT Engineering across three divisions:

 

Field Services:

• Outside Plant Services
• Contractor and Project Management
• Commercial & Consumer Field Services Operation, including:
  • Gov and CSL Wi-Fi services implementation 
  • Smart City project – Smart Meter Project, Mini-bus Location Devices Project

 

Network Planning and Operation:

• Fixed Network infrastructure development, planning and design
• Fixed network operations and technical support
• Technology services design and implementation, including:
  • AI solutions for optimizing network quality
  • Digital transformation projects for external commercial customers, including video analytics

 

Wireless & Core Networking Engineering:

• Mobile core network planning, design & implementation
• Radio access network development, planning & operations
• Indoor and Outdoor mobile network coverage
• 5G rollout and 5.5G Network Evolution
• Mobile network related projects, including:
  • Mobile network support on mega events
  • 5G applications and solutions delivery

 

• University graduate in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information & Communication Engineering or related fields
• Familiar with programming languages such as JAVA, JSP, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Knowledge of data and design tools such as Power BI, and AutoCAD will be an advantage
• Knowledge of AI machine learning, broadband network technologies, and data network architecture; basic IP networking knowledge will be an advantage
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, possess an analytical and growth mindset
• Result-oriented and able to translate innovative ideas into practical solutions
• Suitable candidates will be assigned to one of the divisions based on job availability and their preferences.
