Job Description:

We are looking for a Blockchain Engineer with expertise in Cosmos SDK-based chains to join our team. In this role, you will work on building bridges and infrastructure that enables seamless cross-chain communication. You will collaborate closely with developers working on EVM and non-EVM chains to ensure smooth interactions across different blockchain ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge DeFi protocol while working in a highly decentralized and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridge Development: Design, implement, and optimize secure and scalable cross-chain bridges using the Cosmos SDK, enabling seamless interaction between EVM and non-EVM chains.

• Protocol Integration: Collaborate on integrating various blockchain protocols with the Enso Finance platform, focusing on interoperability between different chains and ensuring smooth DeFi operations.

• Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers, researchers, and protocol designers. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers when necessary.

• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of the bridges and blockchain interactions, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and secure data transfer.

• Security & Auditing: Conduct code reviews, security audits, and implement best practices for blockchain security to safeguard the protocol from vulnerabilities.

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing Cosmos SDK-based chains, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

• Blockchain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development, particularly within the Cosmos ecosystem.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Go or Rust, and experience with blockchain-related languages (e.g., Solidity) is a must. Knowledge of cross-chain technologies like IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) is highly desirable.

• Cross-chain Experience: Previous experience working on bridges or cross-chain communication in blockchain ecosystems, especially between EVM and non-EVM chains.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for developing scalable blockchain solutions.

• Open Source: Experience in contributing to or managing open-source blockchain projects is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBC, Tendermint, or other consensus protocols within Cosmos SDK.

• Familiarity with EVM-based chains like Ethereum and their interaction with non-EVM environments.

• Understanding of security vulnerabilities in cross-chain systems and experience in mitigating these risks.

• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms used in blockchain technology, including zero-knowledge proofs, multi-party computation, etc.
