The Bridge Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural engineering analyses, designing engineering solutions, and managing project engineering for transportation-related structural projects within both the public agency and private markets. These responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Serving in a lead or support technical role, depending on project complexity.</li> <li>Preparation of engineering calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and, at times, task or project management.</li> <li>Day-to-day structural engineering design decisions on bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects, including production and scheduling.</li> <li>Working in a team environment, both internally and externally.</li> <li>Active involvement in client interaction at the project level.</li> <li>Leverage engineering design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation</li> <li>Write and complete technical reports and project correspondences. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 95, 190);"><strong><em>“As employee-owners, we don’t just work here, we grow here. Our culture empowers every team member to find success—professionally and financially—while building something greater than themselves.”</em> </strong>– Arian Bloomfield, President/CEO&nbsp;</span></p> <hr> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4>YOUR STRENGTHS</h4> <ul> <li>Master’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural required</li> <li>Current Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation or willing to obtain soon after hire</li> <li>0-3+ years of relevant experience in bridge engineering design work</li> <li>Understanding of engineering design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation</li> <li>Principal knowledge of load calculations, structural analysis, and design engineering</li> <li>Strong communication, both written and verbal</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h4>WHO WE ARE</h4> <p>At Morrison-Maierle, we’re more than engineers, surveyors, planners, and scientists—we’re community builders.
