Environmental/Health & Safety Consultant Freelancer (PREHS0626)

Description

PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking an experienced Environmental/Health & Safety Consultant Freelancer to support our consulting projects on a freelance basis.

The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility in day-to-day work. However, occasional meetings and workshops with clients may be required, mainly within the Athens area, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing and managing business consulting projects (mainly Environmental, Health & Safety and Food Safety projects).
• Interacting with customers on a regular basis.
• Comparing current practices against legal and regulatory requirements, international standards and best practices.
• Preparing management reports and ESG Reporting and system documentation: policies, procedures, etc.
• Determine ESG strategy and the project’s KPI’s.
• Conducting risk assessments (ESG, OHS).
• Recommend solutions for improvement.
• Support client engagements and deliver timely project outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with client teams and PRIORITY consultants.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant consulting experience in Environmental, Health & Safety or ESG projects.
• Strong knowledge of Management Systems standards, including ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management), and ISO 50001 (Energy Management).
• Proven knowledge of local and international legal and regulatory frameworks related to Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Experience with ISO standards, risk assessments, and sustainability reporting is desirable.
• Freelance availability and flexibility to meet project deadlines.
