This position is vital to ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and transportation regulations across both field and facility operations.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">The successful candidate will work closely with site and dispersed workforce to uphold regulatory compliance and promote a positive learning safety culture rooted in continuous improvement. font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Develop, implement, and monitor EHS and transportation programs in coordination with Corporate Compliance to ensure safe, compliant operations across a geographically dispersed workforce.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Revise policies and plans in response to regulatory changes and lessons learned.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Drive proactive safety initiatives through regular inspections, assessments, and development of heat maps and targeted risk reduction plans.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Coordinate and participate in facility, operational, and cross-functional EHS audits to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Facilitate branch and region safety meetings with leadership, office and field personnel.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Oversee the behavioral observation program to ensure data is utilized effectively and employees remain engaged.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Support the utilization and maintenance of compliance and safety data systems (e.g., Intelex, SharePoint, Lytx, Dossier), including oversight of incident reporting and injury tracking processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Lead incident investigations and perform causal analysis, applying Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles to identify systemic causes and drive preventive actions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) resulting from incidents, observations, and internal audits to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Assist in conducting industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure evaluations for consolidations and emergency responses.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Manage regulatory permit renewals, inspections, and reporting requirements, coordinating with Corporate Compliance and Operations to ensure transportation permits and vehicle permit books are current and properly maintained.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Coordinate emergency preparedness planning and lead response training and drills, including but not limited to fire, chemical spill, and natural disaster scenarios.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Coordinate and conduct internal training on RCRA, CAA, CWA, DOT, OSHA, and FMCSA requirements, collaborating with the Training Department to ensure accurate documentation.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Support medical surveillance programs and assist with the enforcement of the drug and alcohol policy.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field or 5-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Working knowledge of environmental regulations, OSHA standards and transportation safety regulations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;">Experience developing and conducting training.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt;
