This role is based on site at&nbsp;client locations throughout Ontario.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop an understanding of OHSA regulations as well as Triumvirate’s Health and Safety practices.</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop a high-level of Provincial and Federal regulatory expertise ensuring our client’s and the Company’s compliance needs are met (e.g. O. Reg 347 of the EPA and the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act)</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Preparation of chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including segregation as per chemical compatibility and Provincial waste class codes, container labelling, and Provincial chain of custody / billing documentation preparation.</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Safe handling of hazardous waste containers on client sites, as well as loading/unloading of waste from vehicles;&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Safe operation of Triumvirate commercial vehicles (Class G) while transporting hazardous materials.</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Provide both technical expertise and labour related efforts at company hosted municipal Household Hazardous Waste events on weekends at locations throughout Ontario;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Occasionally perform and document Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) audits for clients.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Conduct spill response measures, including the assessment of the spills and cleanup efforts&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations involving hazardous materials.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Basic Requirements</strong>:&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Bachelor's degree or College diploma in an environmental/chemistry related discipline or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional exchanges of information;</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;
