The Role
T1 Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Emergency Dispatch Operator to oversee emergency communications and dispatch operations within our manufacturing facility. This role serves as the central command and communication hub for security personnel, safety teams, facility operations, and emergency responders. In addition to performing dispatch responsibilities, the Lead Emergency Dispatch Operator provides operational leadership, supports dispatcher training and development, ensures adherence to emergency response protocols, and drives continuous improvement of dispatch and incident management processes.

What You'll Do
Lead daily dispatch operations and serve as the primary point of contact for security and emergency communications activities.
Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control systems, and emergency communication platforms.
Receive, assess, prioritize, and coordinate responses to incoming calls, alarms, and incident reports.
Dispatch security officers, safety personnel, and emergency response teams efficiently and effectively.
Maintain continuous communication with on-site security personnel, facility leadership, and external emergency services.
Coordinate and oversee responses to medical emergencies, fires, hazardous material incidents, severe weather events, security breaches, and other critical situations.
Provide leadership and guidance during emergency situations while ensuring compliance with established response protocols.
Escalate significant incidents to internal leadership and external authorities as appropriate.
Track the location, status, and deployment of security personnel and emergency resources.
Review and ensure the accuracy of incident reports, dispatch logs, and communication records.
Conduct routine audits and operational checks of dispatch systems, communications equipment, and monitoring platforms.
Support incident investigations through information gathering, documentation review, and evidence preservation.
Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of emergency response procedures and dispatch protocols.
Lead dispatcher onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development activities.
Coordinate and participate in emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and business continuity planning efforts.
Serve as a subject matter expert and operational resource for security operations, emergency communications, and incident management.
Who You Are
Proven leader with the ability to make sound decisions quickly in high-pressure environments.
Experienced in monitoring CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and emergency communications platforms.
Strong communicator with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience coordinating emergency response activities and dispatch operations.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and maintain attention to detail.
Committed to fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Security Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of dispatch, emergency communications, security operations, or public safety experience.
Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead-level experience preferred.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-in situations.
Strong proficiency with computer systems, dispatch software, reporting tools, and security technologies.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, critical infrastructure, or energy environment.
Experience operating in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
Certification in Emergency Dispatching, Public Safety Communications, Security Operations, Emergency Management, or related disciplines.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, emergency response procedures, and incident command principles.
Experience leading emergency drills, incident reviews, and operational improvement initiatives.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
