About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory Lead Analyst to support and optimize outpatient clinical workflows. This role combines hands-on Epic Ambulatory build and support responsibilities with team leadership and mentorship. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert, provide guidance to other analysts, and help maintain high-quality application support as a key team member transitions out of the organization.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through November 30, 2026
Location: Remote with 1 onsite visit per month (Tarrytown, NY)
Rate: $90-95/hour on W2
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and optimize Epic Ambulatory workflows and functionality.
- Lead and mentor analysts, including coaching members of the ENT & Allergy support team.
- Provide oversight and guidance on analyst work, issue resolution, and best practices.
- Configure and support provider documentation, orders, and results workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to improve outpatient processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Epic Ambulatory experience (7+ preferred).
- Epic Ambulatory certification required.
- Epic Orders Transmittal certification required.
- Epic Results Routing certification required.
- Epic SmartForms certification required.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting outpatient physician practices and professional billing workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Regulatory Reporting certification.
- Epic Haiku/Canto certification.
