As an Estimator II at Absher, you’ll lead key portions of the estimating process, develop scopes, and play a more direct role in building accurate, competitive bids.</p>
<p data-start="535" data-end="641">You’ll work closely with senior estimators while starting to own your work from take-offs through pricing.</p>
<p data-start="648" data-end="666"><strong data-start="648" data-end="666">What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul data-start="668" data-end="1122">
<li data-section-id="19xngq4" data-start="668" data-end="771">Develop full-scope estimates for smaller projects based on varying levels of construction documents</li>
<li data-section-id="1ck2a2n" data-start="772" data-end="849">Coordinate subcontractor outreach, bid solicitation, and proposal efforts</li>
<li data-section-id="5tetgy" data-start="850" data-end="912">Prepare detailed quantity take-offs across multiple trades</li>
<li data-section-id="10lnvz8" data-start="913" data-end="987">Develop and review unit pricing in partnership with the Lead Estimator</li>
<li data-section-id="1q21632" data-start="988" data-end="1034">Build scopes of work for trade contractors</li>
<li data-section-id="1d0avlp" data-start="1035" data-end="1122">Partner with internal teams to gather, organize, and distribute project information</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1129" data-end="1147"><strong data-start="1129" data-end="1147">What You Bring</strong></p>
<ul data-start="1149" data-end="1666">
<li data-section-id="1ny2i4t" data-start="333" data-end="408">3–6 years of experience in construction, estimating, or a related field</li>
<li data-section-id="2p2u35" data-start="409" data-end="530">Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience</li>
<li data-section-id="le8t5p" data-start="531" data-end="640">Experience contributing to estimates for commercial construction projects, ideally in the ~$20M+ range

<p data-start="1977" data-end="2169">This role is primarily based in an office setting with occasional jobsite exposure. The position involves regular computer work, along with walking, standing, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).</p>

<p>All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Background checks may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and references. For positions with access to company financial accounts or credit card programs, a credit history check may also be conducted.</p>
<p>All screening is conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local laws. Candidates will be asked to provide written consent prior to any screening. If results include information that may affect a hiring decision, candidates will have the opportunity to review and respond to the findings before a final decision is made.</p>
