<div><strong>This is not a paid position. </strong>The role is compensated by living Onsite at the community with discounted rent.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>**PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT DETAILS SECTION BELOW BEFORE APPLYING.**</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>The Events and Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for excellence in executing the service plan of Apartment Life. Specifically, they work with their Apartment Life supervisor to prepare a monthly schedule to serve through events and programming in order to meet the needs of each community. Programming can include resident events, workshops/classes for adults and families, resourcing activities and welcoming new residents. This role internally will be called<u>&nbsp;Coordinator of Resident Services.</u></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Important Details:</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>The coordinator role is part time,<strong> 12 hours per week</strong> serving 1 community located in<strong> Broken Arrow, OK</strong> and will be<strong> available in May 2026.&nbsp;</strong></li> <li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The role requires a team of two people</strong>.</span> A team can be a married couple, adult family members, or two roommates of the same gender who will serve together for 2 years.&nbsp;</li> <li>The role can be completed during business hours, evenings and weekends.</li> <li>The coordinator will live Onsite at the community and the role is compensated with discounted rent.<strong> It is not a paid position. </strong></li> <li>The coordinator will plan and host several events each month to promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability.</li> <li>The coordinator will create a monthly schedule that includes community activities and/or workshops.</li> </ul> </div> <div> <div class="mt1_5"> <div class="bg-gray-50 text-gray-700 p2 border rounded"> <div class="text-body text-muted"><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities</strong></div> <div class="text-body text-muted"> <ul> <li>Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.</li> <li>Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth</li> <li>Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources</li> <li>Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs</li> <li>Overall all activities to ensure they run smoothly</li> <li>Communicate regularly with onsite staff</li> <li>Meet weekly with your supervisor to review program and goals</li> <li>Submit monthly reports on activities and impact</li> </ul> </div> <div class="text-body regular"> <p data-start="470" data-end="512">&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="mt1_5"> <div class="bg-gray-50 text-gray-700 p2 border rounded"> <div class="text-body text-muted"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></div> <div class="text-body regular"> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li> <li>Be legally eligible to work in the United States</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services</li> <li>Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal)</li> <li>Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed</li> <li>Basic computer skills</li> <li>Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports</li> <li>Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors</li> <li>Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds</li> <li>Have the availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are home</li> <li>Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="mt1_5"> <div class="bg-gray-50 text-gray-700 p2 border rounded"> <div class="text-body text-muted"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div> <div class="text-body regular"> <ul> <li>Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required</li> <li>Experience serving at-risk populations preferred</li> <li>Previous event planning experience</li> <li>Experience working within a budget</li> <li>Some relevant experience using social media</li> <li>Have a network of support through potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <div class="mt1_5"> <div class="bg-gray-50 text-gray-700 p2 border rounded"> <div class="text-caption caps bold mb1">&nbsp;</div> <div class="text-body text-muted"><strong>Additional notes regarding the application</strong></div> <div class="text-body regular"> <ul> <li>You may see a place to provide a LinkedIn profile, resume, or cover letter.
