With a focus on leveraging technology, automation, and remote operations to enhance efficiencies,&nbsp;Atlas&nbsp;is&nbsp;centered&nbsp;around&nbsp;a core mission of improving human beings’ access to hydrocarbons that power our lives and, by doing so, maximizing value creation for our shareholders.</p> <p>We’re very excited about what we see in front of us, and we think you will be too – so come join our team and contribute to our growth!</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>How You Will Make an Impact</strong></p> <p><strong>Heavy Equipment Operators</strong> are responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile equipment at the plant site including inspection, documentation, escalation of equipment issues while working in an open pit mining production environment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pre-start checks Start-up, park-up, shutdown and communication procedures are carried out in accordance with manufacturers’ and/or site requirements.</li> <li>In case of emergency, understand and follow emergency procedures.</li> <li>Responsible for safe operating practices, including operating controls, monitoring gauges and systems, conducting safety checks and use of two-way radio.</li> <li>Equipment is operated within vehicle limitations as specified by the manufacturer and/or site requirements.</li> <li>Ensure the machine is operated in a manner that maximizes tire life and equipment life.</li> <li>Records are maintained in accordance with site requirements.</li> <li>Loading and hauling operations are carried out with all types of materials in all weather conditions by day and night; within safety requirements and accurate delivery of material to assigned dump location.</li> <li>Work is completed in accordance with the agreed plan and outcomes and within the operating capacities of the equipment.</li> <li>Zero equipment damage due to negligence or not following procedure.</li> <li>Report any safety or mechanical problems with the equipment in accordance with company procedures.</li> <li>Perform other work required or as directed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Mobile equipment operations experience (minimum of 2 years)</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</li> <li>Long reach experience is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear</li> <li>Required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit and climb or balance</li> <li>Must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds</li> <li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus</li> <li>Capable of working flexible hours when required</li> <li>Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat</li> </ul> <p><strong>How You Will Stand Out (customize to the role)</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are team-oriented, approachable, and work well with others.</li> <li>You take pride in your work, ensuring accuracy and quality in every task.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Will Love About Us</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Best People and Team. </strong><em><u>Great Place to Work </u></em>, Hire Vets, Top Place to Work For – Austin American Statesman</li> <li><strong>Your Well-Being is a Priority.</strong> 100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision</li> <li><strong>Invest in Your Future.</strong> 401K with company match, immediate vesting</li> </ul>
